Lorelai fell asleep in the middle of the kitchen floor. :) It was another no-nap day. Clearly she's not ready to give up the afternoon nap.

Mom recently got a sewing machine, so when I was going to buy some toddler-sized pillows for Lorelai, I figured I ought to ask mom if she wanted to try and make one.


Obviously she did make one, and I am so impressed! I picked out the material and ribbon and mom did the rest. You can't really tell they're toddler pillows from this picture, but they are (17x13, compared to the adult 24x19).

(We've been in and out of potty training for several months - she showed initial interest very early, but when Felicity was born, Lorelai decided it wasn't important anymore - so the potty chart is a new idea which we're hoping will be a better reinforcement tool)

Our handyman (and of course, his curious little helper)... Love the new faucet, Boo! The piece of crap faucet shown here is NOT the new faucet!! lol Heck, can I say this piece of crap kitchen doesn't even belong to us? We HATE this kitchen.

Remodeling the kitchen is next on our 'fix the 20-year old house' list.

My sister made this egg for a 'Faberge Egg' project (at school). She created a model on paper and transformed a paper drawing into a beautiful work of art. It took her between 10 and 12 hours from start to finish.

Oh yes, I should add that her final grade was a 98!

Seriously... The oreo-maker must have run out of cream filling, because there were several 'blank' cookie wafers in the Oreo bag. I figured it was the perfect opportunity to let her have her first cookie, without the unhealthy stuff.

(As if Oreos are healthy to begin with, but something tells me the filling is the worst part)
